Nepenthes X Ventrata, is a natural hybrid of N. alata and N. ventricosa; from the Philippines. Perfect beginner Tropical lowland/highland hybrid pitcher. Pitcher coloration varies from pink or orange to deep red or purple.
Sold as a live plant in a 4" pot.
Pitchers tend to perish soon after arrival due to stress and acclimating to your micro climate. Drape a clear produce bag over the plant for one to three weeks.
- Fertilizer: NO FERTILIZERS. Bugs are the fertilizer.
- Soil: Recommend using an airy mix of 70% long leaf sphagnum plus at least 30% perlite in a net pot; in a hanging basket.
- Light: Shaded to full sun. Bright white LED grow light 4000K or dapled sunlight for carnivorous plants.
